This large moon jar is 7"w x 8"h and made from red clay, which gives it its unique color. Horsehair and feathers were applied after the Raku firing. It also features the Japanese art of kintsugi. The piece was then cleaned and polished by hand. This is a decorative piece only and is not water tight. The opening is large enought to accomdate a glass for fresh flowers. It's perfect as a stand-alone statement piece or with dried flowers added.

Each piece has gone through the creative process of being hand thrown, sculpted, trimmed and kiln fired twice. The piece is also cleaned and hand waxed and buffed to a soft finish.

Due to the nature of hand made ceramics, each piece is unique and there may be small imperfections.
