Horsehair and Feathers Raku-fired Moon Jar with Kintsugi

Add a touch of elegance to your home decor with this unique  handmade horsehair and feather raku piece. Hairline cracks occasionally occur during the cool-down proccess. They are repaired using the Japanese art of Kintsugi.

This one of a kind piece combines the ancient Japanese Raku firing technique with the Native-American art of adding delicate horsehair and feathers onto the vase's 1400 degree surface. 

Each piece has gone through the creative process of being hand thrown, sculpted, trimmed and kiln fired twice. The piece is also cleaned and hand waxed and buffed to a soft finish.

Due to the nature of hand made ceramics, each piece is unique and there may be small imperfections.

Returns will be accepted under the following conditions:

• We offer credit only for returns; no refunds.

• Returns must be in new condition.

• Returns must be made within 7 days of the date it was delivered to you.

• We do not cover the cost of return shipping, and no credit will be given for items broken during return shipping. The returned package should be insured for total value. 

• Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Shipping Information. We’ll do our best to ship your item between 3 and 5 business days from receiving payment. You will receive an email with a USPS tracking number and approximate day of delivery.
